
All-Purpose Marinade – Simple, Smart, Versatile (DIY Korean BBQ marinade)

A bold marinade perfect for steak, chicken, pork, ribs, salmon, or tofu. Made for Aussie BBQs, Korean-style grilling, or weeknight stir-fries.
Serves: 2
Cooking Time: 10–15 mins (varies by protein)
Ingredients:

300g protein (beef, chicken, pork, salmon, tuna, or firm tofu)

4 tbsp Mama Kim’s Korean Master Sauce (adjust as needed)
Instructions:

Pat protein dry and place in a dish or zip-lock bag.

Add sauce and coat evenly. Marinate in fridge for at least 1 hour (or overnight).

Rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before cooking.

Grill, fry, or roast until caramelised. Add water and simmer for thicker cuts.

For tofu: pan-fry until golden, then glaze with sauce briefly in the pan.
Serve with: rice, salad, noodles, BBQ plate, burger or wrap.
