How should I store the kimchi?

Kimchi is a living food, filled with natural fermentation.
Please keep it in the fridge at all times. Once opened, make sure the lid is tightly sealed and always use clean utensils to prevent contamination.
Keeping air out helps preserve its freshness and depth. As time passes, the flavour will continue to mature and deepen.

How long does kimchi last?

Our kimchi is best enjoyed within two to three months from the production date.
As it ripens, the flavour becomes more tangy and complex. When it gets too strong for fresh eating, it becomes perfect for cooking dishes like kimchi stew, pancakes or fried rice.

How should I store the sauces?

Before opening, store the sauces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
After opening, keep them in the fridge and use within two to three months. Make sure the cap is closed properly after each use to keep the flavour fresh.

How can I use Mama Kim’s sauces?

Our sauces are versatile and easy to use. They work beautifully as marinades, stir-fry bases, stew sauces or salad dressings. You’ll find simple step-by-step recipes on our website to help you create comforting meals with ease.

Are your products vegan or gluten-free?

Our current kimchi contains a small amount of fish sauce, following traditional Korean methods, so it is not vegan.
We are developing a vegan kimchi option and hope to share it with you soon.

Many of our sauces are made with gluten-free soy sauce, including our Korean Master Sauce.
However, our Kimchi Chilli Sauce contains gochujang, which is not gluten-free.
All ingredients and allergen information are clearly listed on each label.
Please note that although we use gluten-free ingredients where possible, the products are made in a facility that handles gluten, so there may be traces present.

Where are your products made?

 Mama Kim’s Kitchen products are made in Australia using carefully selected ingredients.
Each recipe is inspired by time-honoured Korean traditions, prepared with care to bring warmth and flavour to your kitchen.

How long does delivery take?

We ship across Australia. Orders generally arrive within two to five business days, depending on your location.
Fresh and fermented items are packed with care to make sure they reach you in good condition.

Can I cancel or change my order?

 If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’re happy to help with changes or cancellations.
Once it has been dispatched, we are unable to make changes due to the perishable nature of our products.

What if something is wrong with my order?

 If there’s any issue, please contact us with a photo and a short explanation.
We’ll do our best to make things right. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we always stand by the quality of our products.
