
Bulgogi – Korea’s Favourite BBQ Beef (or Mushroom)
One of Korea’s most loved dishes. Sweet, savoury, and full of umami. Traditionally made with beef, but easily adapted for vegans using mushrooms.
Serves: 2–3
Cooking Time: 10–12 mins
Ingredients:

300g thin beef slices (or 150g shiitake + 100g enoki mushrooms)

1 onion, sliced
- 1/4 carrot julienned

A few spring onions, chopped
- A handful of mushrooms (optional, for extra flavour)

Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:

Marinate beef or mushrooms with sauce for at least 30 mins.

Mix with the vegetables until well combined.

Stir-fry over high heat until browned.

Garnish with spring onion and seasme seeds.
Serve with: steamed rice, lettuce wraps, or BBQ sides.
